After over 10,000 votes between Instagram and Twitter, a new champion was crowned in the annual LF March Madness Shorts Bracket.
Round 1 started off with only one upset on each side of the bracket. On both the left and right sides, the 11th seed upset the 6th seed. Green Corduroy Pattern edged out a close one over Primary Tie Dye on the left side while Bones blew out Purple Corduroy on the right side of the bracket.
In Round 2 we saw a few more upsets and lots of close races. On the left side of the bracket, we saw Black Flames upset the 2nd seed, Corduroy Scene. The right side of the bracket provided two upsets in the Sweet Sixteen. 7th seed Houston over 2nd seed Blue Flame and 11th seed Cinderella short, Bones, upsetting 3-seed Red Corduroy Pattern.
Bones kept on rolling in the Elite 8, taking out 7th seed Houston but that wasn't even the biggest upset on its side of the bracket in this round. 4th seeded Golden Gate Bridge knocked off number 1 seeded Black Tie Dye in the closest race of the tournament to that point. On the left side of the bracket in the Elite 8 we seen NYC Skyline take out Golden Floral and Black Spider Web power through Black Flame.
The Final Four was all set and featured shorts from 2 collections, Skyline and Dark Times, both from the inaugural Lost Files season all the way back in Summer 2021.
On the left side of the bracket NYC Skyline took down 3rd seeded Spider Web Shorts easily. The right side of the brackets match up was a different story. 11th seeded Bones Cinderella story wouldn't end without a fight. Bones won the Twitter poll but the Instagram poll favored Golden Gate Bridge by just over 250 votes, giving them the spot in the championship round.
The championship was unfortunately a blow out. #1 ranked NYC Skyline was ripping through each matchup and wasn't going to stop when it seen its collection partner, Golden Gate Bridge. At the end of the tournament, NYC Skyline seen the most total votes by almost double than the next closest pair of shorts.
The NYC Skyline shorts will be re-released tonight starting at 8pm ET along side the Golden Gate Bridge shorts. This release will be a pre-order. The pre-order will be open until this Thursday at 7pm ET.
